HAVEN'T WE ALL HEARD from a potential Seller that THEY CAN NOT SELL right now because they will not make enough money on their home? That they WANT this amount of equity or profit before they will sell!
Just a few excuses that I personally have heard:
- I want to sell my house next summer when the market is better.
- I am not going to make the money on my house that I think I should.
- I have things I want to do to it first.
STOP RIGHT THERE SELLERS - LISTEN TO THIS NEWS ALERT !!!
HERE ARE JUST a few thoughts to consider :
- Yes, the Market MAY be better next year and your house might sell for more. BUT THE HOUSE YOU BUY NEXT YEAR will also be more money making it a wash!
- Your upgrades are exactly that - your upgrades and unless they added permitted square footage, and you did NOT upgrade yourself right out of your neighborhood, you will NOT get what you put in out of your home. They were for your pleasure and taste.
- Why continue to put more money into your home if you intent to sell it? Other than recommended updates and repairs.
- With lower interest rates & great loan programs out there, you are making it easier for a Buyer to purchase your home and you can get into your NEW homes for an amazingly low interest rate, giving you more buying power.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SELLING YOUR HOME THINK ON THIS:
WHY HOLD ONTO THE HOME YOU ARE PROBABLY PAYING A HIGHER INTEREST RATE ON THAN WHAT you will pay when you purchase your new home during these GREAT rates.
WHY NOT BE IN YOUR NEW HOME SO THAT WHEN THE MARKET DOES FINALLY TURN AROUND UP YOU WILL BE BUILDING ALL THE EQUITY IN YOUR NEW HOME!
WHAT YOU THINK YOUR GOING TO LOSE IF YOU SELL YOUR CURRENT HOME NOW, YOU WILL ACTUALLY GAIN IN YOUR NEW HOME IN THE FUTURE.
