Are Angels watching you on ActiveRain?

The ActiveRain Pay-It-Forward Accountability Group are rapidly growing in numbers.  We have had so many people come into the group over the last week since it start on October 10th!  It's great reading about all the wonderful things everyone is doing to help each other out.

You'll start seeing the Pay-It-Forward Angel on some posts.  This means that the PIF Angels has seen your blog post and confirmed your deposit into the Bank of Kharma!  It is NOT a requirement for your weekly accountability to receive the 2,500 bonus points each month.  It's just a special recognition.

If you see the the Pay-It-Forward Angel with the "Future Feature" logo, that means your post will be featured on ActiveRain.  Not just within the group, it will be a full feature on the ActiveRain site.

OK...you convinced me. I regularly take part in volunteer work here in Austin as a way to help others and enjoy myself at the same time. It would also be a great way to bring attention to the various groups that work so hard to help those who fall between the cracks, are ignored or just do not have resources otherwise!

Ralph,

I had my doubts when joining the group if I could get OK with talking about good things that I do.. It's a wonderful idea..

I realize that not everyone will have the same thoughts on that  so I've dealt with it by posting in members only mode with "Pay It Forward" posts and if I'm talking about a person to give them a fictitious name. 

I do believe it's a wonderful idea to have a group focused on doing good deeds.  What made you think about doing it?

Ralph - LOVE this group and what it brings out in everyone!     I asked a person to go ahead of me at Costco today, since she only had 3 items, and she was flabbergasted.   I told her to please not worry about it, just pay it forward to someone else the next time.  She giggled, and thought that was an awesome idea!

Attended Rain Camp

Ralph,Nothing beats OLD FASHIONED TEAM WORK.I like being part of a positive no BS group of people that get involved and make a difference in lives whether  big or small.I wish i could sell that house.Remember our Vets this Thursday.nov 11.thanks.Jim H.

Ralph,

Our friend Russel Ray just alerted me to this group.  It will be a big struggle for me because somehow it got into my thick skull that good deeds don't count if anyone other than the recipient knows about them. I dipped my toe with a lost listing because others already knew.

You and the other PIF posters will help me in my battle not to be quite so anonymous...
