Has anyone felt the sudden change in the real estate market? It has come on so subtlely that I think most of us didn't notice it. But then, you start to notice the little hints. The phone is starting to ring a little more. There are a few more internet inquiries. The listings are getting a few more showings.
Laat week, I was checking some comparables on a property I have listed. And lo and behold there have been 10 properties in that subdivision that have gotten contracts since July. I was amazed. There hadn't been any action in that subdivision or in any other for that matter, not really. Could this be a sign that things they are a changing? Could what we all have been waiting for, actually be happening?
In our office there were several offers and then contracts that occurred last week. I heard from another Realtor in another office that someone got 3 contracts last week. Hallelujah!
Let's keep this momentum going. We're going to continue to sell more property, the bottom came and went, I am convinced that we are on the upswing. If you believe it too, what could be the worst that could happen? Happy selling!
