A New Home Owner

By
Real Estate Agent with Sibcy Cline Realtors®

This is a follow up to my post Respect http://activerain.com/blogsview/159157/R-E-S-P . The wonderful young couple that I met have closed on their new home. It is a 3 bedroom ranch with 2 baths and a 2 car garage. The sale price was 135,000.00 and the home is in great condition.

As you recall the REALTOR® that they first met told them to give them a call when they were serious about looking for a home. They are young she is 19 and he is 21.

When they went through finacing they tried to qualify for the Ohio First Time Buyers loan program but they ran into one major problem. They made to much money! The income limit on the loan they were trying to get is 64,450 and their income was higher than that.

Here is a photo of their new home.

As a young couple they are off to a good start. They own a home that is a nicer home than either of their parents owned when they were starting out. Just see what happens when you treat people with the respect they deserve.

People definitely deserve respect and sometimes we make assumptions about people and shouldn't.  There are parents, stock options, savings that people have and don't want to spend...unless they find "the" house and then they might be able to afford much more than they've shared with you.

I hear so many stories about agents who show homes out of someones desired price range...why can't you just listen to your clients and respect them?
