A walk in the woods searching out the elusive.....

Elusive What!?  Many of God's creatures are very elusive.  If you are out hunting them or even fishing or bird watching, the quarry you are looking for can be very elusive.

I was looking for the elusive squirrel.  Yes Squirrel.  Now I know many of you are saying..."Hey Bill, I have adozen in my backyard feeders, come and get them!  PLEASE!!"

Sorry, I don't hunt around bird feeders.  But looking for this 'squirrely' creature can be an act of futility.  But, that is why I brought with me my buddy and his squirrel dog.  Now I had never seen the dog work before, but I had heard the tales.

So we head into the woods and very quickley Fetch, the dog's name was Fetch, ran up top a tree with on paw on the trunk and started to bark.  "What's up with him," I asked.

"Well, see Fetch has one paw on the tree, that means there is a squirrel up there."  We looked around and finally, There it was.  We took care of business and moved on our way.  Soon Fetch was barking and had both front feet on the tree.  "Now What?' I asked.  "2 feet means 2 squirrels."  Sure enough we found 2 squirrels.

With business done, we trekked farther into he woods when Fetch all of a sudden started barking at the base of a tree.  He had picked up a stick and was thrashing the daylights out of it.  "What the...Has he gone mad? "

"Nope", said my buddy."  That is Fetch's way of saying that there are more squirrels than you can shake a stick at up this tree!"

Don't worry my friends, the longer Hunting season lasts, the worse the jokes get!

Now that is what you call a great hunting dog.   I love to hunt these little rodents.  Very tasty treat!

They are annoying to clean and look like rats when done :-) I probably lost 3/4 of any future AR referrals by admitting that I have ever done this.

Steve, easy to clean...less than two minutes.  Great with Mushroom soup.  You referrals will go up by 50% if you promise to rid the homeowners of the delicious pest!

Pretty good joke William.  I haven't tried squirrel yet.  I may just have to give it a shot.

William, 2 minutes to clean? Describe the process right here I dare you. Especially if it involves plyers :-)
