This is a snapshot of what's going on in the Coralville IA real estate market at the moment. There continues to be big opportunities for buyers. Interest rates are still incredibly low at 4.125% - 4.25% for a 30 year fixed rate loan. (The link is to Hills Bank, where they publish their rates online). I think, as I mentioned in a recent post, the low interest rate is as much as if not a bigger incentive than the tax credit. Free money is gone before you know it, a low interest rate means you save every month for the life of the loan.
