I will start out by saying I LOVE my house. Like most Realtors, I see a lot of homes and sometimes get the "grass may be greener on the other side" syndrome... So far, the choices have been either out of our price range or not "special" enough to get us to pull the rip cord. Our family has looked for houses for a couple of years off and on and because we are so happy with the location (and the fact that we feel we have done all we can do with our home) we have stayed happily for 15 years. Now we have 2 very large teenagers and we think we have found a few possibilities that make it worth a move. So... last night, I put my house in the multiple list service and hit "Active". Uh, oh!
Today is Monday, 18 Oct... I thought that since I did not have pics in til noon I might be ok (things would be quiet) til the TUE broker's open. NOPE! I Have had 6 Realtors (3 with clients) today and it is 5:30pm. I will do the brokers' open tomorrow noon - 2pm and actually am most excited to see many of my colleagues from my previous brokerage firm! Truly! And I will have cupcakes and cider and I think it will be fun. Then, Sun, for the Open House, I know enough to sneak away and let one of the agents in my office do her thing....
