There is a major Slug Line at the Route 234 and US 1 VDOT Commuter Lot with routes to the Pentagon and numerous DC locations.
The VRE Rippon Station is approximately 15 minutes - you can transfer to Metrorail at the Franconia-Springfield Station
MCB Quantico is approximately 15 minutes
Fort Belvoir is approximately 45 minutes during rush hour

Lake Montclair Center is approximately 15 minutes
There are numerous neighborhood shopping centers within 15 to 20 minutes on US Route 1 as well as in Dale City.
The Market at Opitz Crossing is approximately 15 minutes

RECREATION

Obviously, the fact home prices are 8% over 2009 levels is good news for Port Potomac homeowners.. It is very much in line with recent market reports in other subdivisions that tend to indicate the downward spiral is either ending or ended. A check of the statistics at our Multiple Listing Service confirm that all areas of Prince William County are producing the same results. There are variances, of course, but that is a function of the type of homes and the number and percentage each type in a particular subdivision.
