This is interesting: CORT furniture is #1 least skipped commerical campaign...hmmm, i wonder why?

Home Stager with Cincinnati Home Stager

As I was reading through my new Businessweek magazine, I came across this interesting article "Which Ads Don't Get Skipped?  CORT furniture was the #1 campaign ad that is least likely to get skipped through when someone is skipping through the commercials on their TIVO.  Although I don't recall ever seeing their commercials, I'd like to think as a Stager...beautifully staged homes showcasing rental furniture stop most people in their tracks (or rather cause them to hit the pause button on their remote) so they can take in the beauty!

What's your take?

I've never seen their commercials, either.  Interesting, though.  They have decent pieces, although their customer service isn't great...the one down here, anyway.  I have yet to use them.

Thanks for sharing!

CORT - Dallas, TX

I have not actually looked at the commercial they are referencing but it is most likely the one featuring WARREN BUFFETT. The ad has Mr Buffet commenting on CORT's services and the ad is targeted to corporations to bring light to the full service spectrum of CORT.  Go to www.cort.com to see the commercial. Look at the top right corner of the page.

CORT does far more than just rent furniture and with our new campaign we will  include home staging assistance. Through the use of local, trusted and established home staging professionals CORT will be able to raise awareness about the benefits of home staging and in turn sends more business to local stagers!

Contact your local CORT and see what it takes to become part of the National program just launched. This is in no way in competition with stagers, much to the contrary CORT is partnering with stagers to offer more services to their corporate clients.

There is a recent article circulating that is poorly edited that makes it LOOK like CORT is actually doing the staging, but in truth CORT has developed this program specifically including home staging professionals. Yes, if asked CORT will say we offer home staging services...and here is HOW...we contract WITH stagers to do the staging portion using CORT furniture where necessary. CORT's national corporate clients  require "one stop shopping' and this is how can accommodate that client.

The program is truly and exciting development for home staging as it will serve to generate more services for professional stagers through more awareness on the corporate level. These are large relocation companies and banks that CORT is contracting to that have millions of dollars in inventory of unsold homes looking for a national answer to assist in getting their  homes sold.

I welcome your call is you are interested in learning more about how partnering with CORT can help grow your business.
