Dream Homes?

Over the years, My wife and I have had some incredible opportunities to travel both stateside and abroad. We have seen some beautiful countyside and some awesome dream homes. It's funny now but about 16 years ago not too many years into our marriage we spotted a home in Phoenix Arizona that we thought was the most incredible home we had ever seen. It is a beautiful home but fast forward to now and my dream has changed.

I am curious if you could have your dream home. Where would you build it and what would it look like? Feel free to put pictures with your comments.

What style of home do you like? How much land? It does not cost anything to dream. Share your dream with others. We would love to steal (i mean borrow) your ideas. Ha

My dream home would be where ever my family is...we live 300+ miles from each of our kids...I would love to have us all live closer and enjoy family dinners, Christmas all together and just some quality time.  Life is too short, I've never been into having 'stuff' or 'money' or any of the material things...

Great comments Mary. So true. You help keep things in prospective. A house is not a home until you have family in it. Thanks

Thanks Brian:

That was great. Our dreams grow as we do and what we dream about today will probably not be what we really need or want tomorrow.

Alan - I think I actually have my dream home now, except I might prefer a nicer view.  As others have alluded to above, with regard to priorities, I have a happy marriage, healthy kids, and a closer relationship with God than I have ever had in my life.  This is a dream come true!  - McL

I think you do too. Put an Ocean in font or behind your home and it's perfect. Maybe you could order that done today. Ha.

Alan - Who do I call to get the ocean installed?  My graphic is "plum".  Pretty easy today, huh?

I would say put in a call to God. It can't hurt and after all He did design the place so I am sure He could fix you right up. Go and get some sand first.
