DONT VIOLATE YOUR OWN MIRANDA RIGHTS....Social Networking responsibly

The Miranda rule was created so that people would stop sending themselves to jail. They couldn't help themselves from hurting themselves. We needed a law to protect ourselves from ourselves....NOW...When we openly blog about all that we say and do, where we have gone, what we did, and then it becomes public record

Now, if you are set in life, and are comfortable with what you have done and said, then using all the social media available is fun and productive. The benefits are there....But, if you are in the middle of change or starting a new career path, perhaps you may want to take another look at all the information you so generously shared....

A LOT OF WHAT PEOPLE BLOG ABOUT THEMSELVES WOULD REQUIRE A SUBPOENA AND BEING UNDER OATH TO OBTAIN

In essence you have turned against yourself and.... have undone Miranda........You may have not done it deliberately, but then you haven't been challenged or suffered from the act....at this time....

Consider the following:

• The IRS gets more data this way then you can imagine.

• Your employer really will know more than an application or reference will ever divulge...

• Collection agencies follow your public data with interest...

• Attorneys contemplating suing you gather your own data....

• People wanting to burglarize your home will know when to do it.......

All I am saying is to blog responsibly and not just for vanity reasons...You cannot take back what has gone public. Also, be advised that this information stays around for years and years......It is a living online diary written by your hand..

Don't learn about this after the fact or via the school of hard knocks........go check your data and make sure it does and says what you want it to do and say......responsibly
