Pennsylvania requires a Seller's Property Disclosure for the sale of almost all residential real estate in the state. While they may not contain earth shattering information, they are a good start to help a buyer understand the condition of the re-sale property he or she is about to buy.
And every so often, you see something in one that makes you chuckle!
So here's a property with a private well. When was the well water last tested? Ten years ago. That's enough to raise some eyebrows.
But the best part is the "Test Results?" question. the answer? Good Tasting!
I can just imagine how that highly scientific water test happened ten years ago:
Mrs. Owner: "Hey, Pa! C'mere and drink this glass of water for me."
(Mr. Owner trots over and drinks): "Yeah?"
Mrs. Owner: "So -- whaddya think?"
Mr. Owner: "I dunno. Tastes good."
I shudder to think at how they have their septic system tested . . .
