It has the much common issue of buyer fall out. Buyer fall out is a common symptom of short sale lag.
This short sale has been lagging and the buyer has walked.I tried to educate the buyer's agent on the
time frames involved prior to accepting the offer,but I guess it did not sink in.

This home is now being processed as a HAFA short sale and I should have it approved soon.

Yes, it is tough waiting on a short sale.  Once it is approved the wait is a lot more tolerable.  I just had buyer walk away from a short sale where they waited 5 months for a bank response.  It was insulting to be bargained with on a market offer after waitign 5 months for them to just look at the file.  The property is back on the market and I'm waiting to see what it ultimately sells for.

It seems like we have to be both buyers agent and sellers agent with short sales.  We juggle so many people trying to keep the transaction moving forward.

I would welcome the chance to handle both sides in a short sale.As the seller is unable to net any funds from this type of sale,dual agency is not an issue.
