Savor what is fleeting! Tomorrow might be another day but it may also be too late!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Richard Weisser Realty

Fall leaves are fleetingFall leaves are fleeting. The hues and colors build to a peak but just like the finale of a fireworks display, they are gone in a flash.

And if you miss the show, you are too late. And there’s not a thing that you can do about it.

We are all guilty of putting things off until it is too late, both in life and in business. The “would’ve, should’ve, could’ve” pangs of regret cad be depressing and debilitating.

Leaves fall, snow melts, flowers fade, children grow, and life goes on. And a lot of times, the task that we prioritized wasn’t all that important at all!

Make the time to savor what is fleeting. It makes life a lot more enjoyable!

Richard,

Applications abound for these wise words. All we have to do is hear.

I get wrapped up in doing so much and know how important this is. Now need to be more aware of when I am not present to the moment.

Good morning Richard,

Our leaves will never have the magnificent colors your part of the country has but we are feeling Fall is in the air. Gorgeous photo! Time does race by and we turn around sometimes and wondering what all the rush is about!

Hi Richard,

Your post is so true.  My father died when I was six, so I learned at an early age that life is short and I try to live without any regrets.  What can seem so important one moment is meaningless the next.

Oh so true, we need to move quickly when an opportunity presents itself, that is something I have learned big time this year. I have gotten some nice referals from answering the phone and messages right away. I have also lost a few that I couldn't act on right away....

Richard... I made my son's final cross country meet on Monday, I am so proud of him and ashamed of myself for missing so many of those events through the years. The people I talked to while missing a school even...I can even remember what was so important to make stay.

Don't you wish the leaves would stay for at least 3 months.... well down here we don't have very cold weather and they would survive longer but then they would not reach the hues that you guys have up there.

Richard...what a great way to remind us that " Enjoy this moment, for once it is gone, it is gone forever".
The trees here in our part of Michigan are very pretty this year; to be enjoyed; AND to be blown into
the yard next door.   LOL.  [we are having some very strong winds lately]
Have a great rest of the week.

So very true. There is no guarantee for tomorrow. Here in SoCal the tree colors are still green and flowers still blooming. It seems that our mild and cooler than normal summer have given our plant life a late start.
