First, I would like to apologize to every person who commented on any of my posts for not getting back to them.

Second, When you're in the same Profession for over 35 years you tend to get desensitized to the needs of those in your sphere of influence. Your family, friends, coworkers, business associates, etc. To you, those I have neglected, I'm sorry.

Third, Not to make excuses, but confession IS good for the soul. I confess I am not perfect, yet! I am still a work in progress!

Fourth, Who among us doesn't want to be considered a 'Good Guy'? Believe it or not, I am a 'Good Guy'. Just ask me!

Fifth, I have a birthday coming up this month, so I must be EXTRA good.

Sixth, I'm very opinionated as some of you on AR have already discovered, yet I consider myself a good listener.

Seventh, I have a strong voice, and to some come across as somewhat gruff, yet I am a 'Teddy Bear' at heart.

Eighth, Sales has changed me from a humble introvert who enjoys being alone to a sometimes egocentric  self-centered businessman eager for praise.

Ninth, The best thing I like about myself, is that I never feel too old to change or learn something. I love new ideas, new toys, new inventions, new gadgets, new friends, new business, yet I consider myself a conservative who is reluctant to change.

Tenth, Sometimes I know me, sometimes I'm too complex to know. That is why I need the Lord so much. He is the only One who knows me and knows my needs. Thank you too, Lord!

What would you like to confess about yourself? Feel free to comment. I care and so does He!

Good morning Fran,

Wonderful post and confession !  This is you being honest about who you are and  I certainly think it qualifies for the honesty contest...just add the word 'honesty' in the tags section and repost it so that it shows up in the Inspiration group and I will add it to the list of entries ...

good luck Fran and thanks for entering...

Jo

p.s.  I knew a lot of  those things about you already...I'm good at figuring things out about people..especially good folks like you.

Confession is good for the soul and leads to forgiveness!

1Jo 1:9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Patricia,

Yes, there's only one of me, thank God. I have been praying for the gift of bi-location for years. Haven't received it yet. Thanks,   Fran

Fran,

Confession is always good for you. But I think you might want to rethink the two birthdays a year . That just means you,ll get old twice as fast. Anyway I like your posts you seem like a nice guy. God Bless yoy and have a relaxing labor day.

Fran, What a lovely post...and none of us are perfect, I don't think we're supposed to be--as long as we work on it, we're doing just great.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

FRAN!!!  This is an awesome post!  It so touched me because as i read it........ it reminded me so much of ME!!  We have MUCH in common!  I can identify whole-heartedly! Reading your confessions is humbling. It may have taken something to do that, and i commend you.  We realize we certainly need the Lord, don't we?

Diane,

From one good 'guy' to another, "Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it..." Ps 127. Without Him I am nothing!  Thanks,   Fran
