Genentech is to begin building a brand new research facility in Dixon California. This is entirely separate and over 10 miles away from their Vacaville facility and will employ over 300 people. Dixon is on the brink of a population growth with a brand new high school, more housing approved, new big box and nationwide franchise businesses are coming to town left and right.

Home Depot is coming soon, but Dixon will retain it's farming heritage, Farm and Tractor Supply just opened it's doors less than one mile from the old Dixon Livestock Yards.

Shell, Safeway, Starbuck's have all been here for years, restaurants, stores, gas stations, hotels and lots more here to come since Wal Mart opened one of the most beautiful Wal Mart Super Centers here a few years back.
