TRIATHLETES
: Before the start of the race, prior to entering the transition area:
1. Pick up your race number and chip timing anklet at registration - we open at 7:00 am .
Have your bib number out and ready to show the registration staff to receive your timing chip anklet. This will be used for your split times. If you do not finish the race, return this anklet to a finish line staff member. You will be billed $20 if the anklet is not returned at the finish line.
2. Rack your bike - first come first serve in the transition area. You must have your race number to check into the transition area.
3. Head to the run start - TRANSITION AREA CLOSES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AT 8:45AM!
F.A.Q.
Team: Consist's of no more than 3 and no less than 2. Each team participant runs a leg of the race. This is a relay format.
Age Limit : If you can participate without impeding the flow of others, there is no age limit!

Registration: Is done here online through Active.com, via US Mail, call in credit card info or day of event. You will need to check in day of event regardless of pre-registration.
Bike/Transition Area: Understanding that our triathletes love their bikes, we have a secured area where your bikes are stationed for transitition. All non-participants must remain outside of the transition area at all times on race day.
Start: There is one start for all...No Wave starts at the Tinsel Tri
Finsh Medals: Are new and improved this year. We are excited and you will too as each person who completes the race will receive a medal.
Photographer: PhotoCrazy.com will be on site to take photos of the participants for a fee. Be sure to check back online with us to locate your photos.
Due to the present race venue (the Pool), the Tinsel Triathlon runs with the 5K first and the swim last.
