Santa Cruz is the COOLEST place..... I spent many days there to escape from the High Sierra's where I lived and grew up. It was so much fun..... camping along the coast, driving up to Pescadero, meeting surfers..... and later, as I was raising a family spending time at Paharo Dunes where we had a time share for many years....what a beach! Wish I could make it to your event, it looks like so much fun and I probably would run into a few "old hippies" I know.
