Bank of America Will Resume Foreclosures in 23 States

In addition to the news Carla brings us below... I just read that Fannie Mae is telling loan servicers to "stop unnecessarily delaying foreclosures." They want this done, and they want it done now!

In e-mails to short sale specialists, Wells Fargo stated that extensions of foreclosures will only be honored if they were granted on or before September 14.This is in response to the Fannie Mae edict.

I'd say this is bad news for homeowners who have been trying to short sell... and whose transactions have been unnecessarily delayed by the loan servicers.

The hidden agenda is that they want foreclosures done so they can collect more dollars from the taxpayers. There is SO much going on behind the scenes... it's sickening.

Wouldn't it be nice to just stop doing business with the giants?

All HAIL Bank of America . . .

For all those Realtors® who couldn't wait for the news . . . well, now you have it.

Bank of America will begin seizing more than 100,000 properties beginning next week.  Because I'm sure they ironed out all the kinks . . .

Here's the latest from AP Real Estate writer/ reporter Alan Zibel:  Bank of America Starts Thaw in Foreclosure Freeze

And the happy, happy stockholders are pleased . . . shares, which had been flat, have now gone up 3%.  Yippee!!  3% share increase . . . steam roll foreclosures continue.   YIPPEE.

What B of A does, the rest will follow suit.  As we all know B of A is the BANKSTER of them all.

So all you Realtors® that just couldn't wait until foreclosures continued -- on the homes that all your Realtors® sold -- can now pat yourselves on the back.

This mess is far from over.  But the Bank of Beelzebub likes to spit in the courts' face.  Continuing with the foreclosures they're suggesting there was really nothing wrong with the fraudulent documents submitted to the courts.  It was only "procedural."  So, it's business as usual . . .

"Cheryl Salmons, office manager at the Law Offices of David Stern, would sign 500 files in the morning and another 500 files in the afternoon without reviewing them and with no witnesses, former assistant Kelly Scott said in a deposition released by the Florida attorney general's office.

Jeffrey Tew, an attorney for Stern's firm, didn't immediately return a phone call.

Government-controlled mortgage buyers Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have stopped referring foreclosures to Stern's firm while they review the firm's filings." [quoted]

The Law Offices of David Stern are still OPEN?!?

Now the lightbulb goes off . . . OF COURSE foreclosures will continue because B of A, et al are going to blame the law offices they hired to process their foreclosures.  Brilliant legal stratgey.  And once again . . . like that Roman guy in the Bible . . . they'll just wash their hands of the matter, and come out smelling like a rose.  Let the FORECLOSURES BEGIN!!

I agree something is still not right.  However I just read about a group in Florida who is not going to let this lie.  (Sorry I don't have the name with me.  Margaret C.

Margaret - I'm glad there are people who won't let this lie. Much of what they've done is fraud - clear and simple. I just don't know if we can trust the government to prosecute the wrongdoing - I think there's a conflict of interest there.

Jami - I agree. Corrupt is a good description.
