I took about five shots of this flower but this one is my favorite because I love the way the vines from the plant resemble the Christian fish symbol, ICHTHUS, also known as "The Jesus Fish". This is a moon plant and the flower typically only opens up like this at night. This was one of those odd times that it was open during the day.

Nice one my friend! We're not seeing many colors like this in Connecticut right now - mostly everything's turning to yellow and brown, and falling all over my green grass making a mess for me to clean up -- not to MENTION the acorns...!
You yes! I agree. It's calling out to me too! I love the soft bluish-purple petals. It reminds me of a morning glory. I feel like when you look into the center, you're looking into the well of it's soul!
