Bride in Moroccan wedding finery, and me

My husband and I recently went to Morocco to attend his sister's wedding celebration there. It was spectacular! The first phase of the ceremony included having her hands tattooed with henna, which we all agreed looked quite pretty. It took me a while, but I finally got a chance to shove my way through the crowds and join her on the green velvet throne for a photo opp.

Wow! Beautiful women! I clicked on your post because Morocco intrigued me and seeing the photo was a great start to my day. I love the green dress. (While yours is also fantastic, you just can't compete with the bride's garb!) I attended an Indian wedding a few years ago and it was really fun to be part of different cultural tradition.
