Lush Burger is a fun gourmet burger restaurant located in North Scottsdale's DC Ranch community. Tucked into a newer development just north of Pima Road and the 101 called DC Ranch Crossing, Lush Burger is a great place for lunch or dinner where you can get a solid, delicious, casual meal.
The decor at Lush is very contemporary and almost has a nightclub feel. There are lots of clean lines, vibrant reds and fun touches.
To order, you simply walk up to the counter and select what you want. You will be given a number and then you are free to pick your table. There is booth and counter seating indoors and a large comfortable patio outside. Your order will be delivered to you and servers are on hand for drink refills, dessert orders and other requests. On the night we visited, the weather was gorgeous and we had the opportunity to sit on the patio, which was a really nice treat.
Lush Burger, as the name implies, has a large selection of gourmet burgers on the menu. There is everything from traditional beef to ahi. My dining companion had the special burger - the "Clint Eastwood." It was a large burger with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, a large onion ring and more.
To accompany your burger, there are lots of different preparations of french fries. We tried the sea salt, truffle and parmesan fries which were delicious. We also had the sweet potato fries and they were quite good.
On the lighter side, there is a good selection of salads to choose from. We ordered the Cobb Salad and it was nice and fresh.
The children's menu has a lot of the standards you would expect. However, what was nice to see were some healthier options like grilled chicken tenders and vegetables.
Overall, we really enjoyed our meal at Lush Burger. It is a great addition to the DC Ranch and North Scottsdale restaurant scene and we look forward to future visits.
