I've seen these before.  A bit more graphic than this.  Pretty funny but sometimes pretty accurate also.

There's no easy way to success, like anything.  Blog, contribute, learn.

Steve, great to see you! But I can't see the video, unless I am just too old to see it, LOL. I went to Dunkin Donuts this morning and they gave me a senior discount... I am not yet 55. Perhaps my old eyes are so bad that I can't find the link on your post????

I'll be back...

Ryan - So true!  Social media is a marathon, not a sprint!

Andrea - Good to see you too! The video is from YouTube which needs Adobe Flash.  You may need the latest Flash update :)  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I Love it! My husband is a Graphic Designer working in the advertising department of a large national corporation.

He hates "Social Media Expert" as a saying because it brings down his profession when people associate these social media "experts" with credible designers and advertisers. He says all the time: How can you ethically promote yourself as an expert in something so easy a child can do it?

You don't need to be an "expert" to understand facebook, or twitter, it is designed to be easy.... very easy... so that millions of people can use it!

 Love the blog!

The big hype about social media network. I am a graphic artist and web designer. Just sit and play around to familiarize yourself. Cannot believe people pay money to learn how to use social media.

Ingrid and Indera - Glad you all were not offended by the graphics reference.  I think there is a place for social media education, but I equate it to an old saying:  "Give a man a fish, he eats for a day.  Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime".

An agent probably wouldn't have someone make their marketing calls for them, and I don't think an agent should sub contract their social media campaign either.  What I can't stand (and the point of the video) are the self proclaimed experts that market their wares to others, but don't even know how to do it for their own business!
