Would everyone agree that it's important to know what to say and how to say it? In real estate knowing this is so crucial to our success. The reason being that we're always answering question, making phone calls or speaking in front of people trying to generate business.
Scripts is a great way to have a road map of sorts on how the conversation should be going and what questions we should be asking. The thing with scripts is that most of them sound like a script and people know that you're literally reading from a book. The other thing with them is that most agents use the same ones at one point or another.
In order for you to sound different from every other agent you have to master the scripts. The main reason for this is that as you master the scripts you will inertly start to change the language and it starts to sounds more like your natural style of speech. You won't sounds like a robot and you'll get much better results.
Another reason is that the modified script will become a second language and you won't have to think about what to answer a potential client's questions. This is what we know as objection handling which is also crucial to getting beter results. As we develop our skills I think we can never neglect being very articulate and being able to respond properly to the ever changing objections people have. This is an industry where learning never stops.
