Raising Funds

As some of you know I lost my best friend to cancer many years ago. That's why I quite smoking and I urge you to do the same. As the caretaker of my best friend you should trust me when I say , that is not how you want to die. And my father used to always tell me to support the children with this horrible disease. So it really means alot to me when my buddy Ashley set this up.

I Love Her!!!!

I do not smoke and I really would not want to smoke after I watched a show on the makings of a cigarette. I am sorry you lost your friend.

I am sorry for your loss.

You can always add a lnik on your website for people to donate for this cause. My father in law died in June from complications with cancer and we are requesting donations made to the Cancer society instead flowers at his memorial service on 9/15.

Yea I usually post this kind of thing up on my myspace..so if you add me to that you will get all the bulletins..myspace.com/dominantcreations.but I just like to show people what I've been up to! But don't worry, we had a ton of people come out and in fact Chilli's has donated so much that they built a full wing to the children's hospital. Also my best friend was my father, thanks for the kind remarks. He passed over 10 years ago but I am still touched by it all and I used to smoke as well .... I just like to keep a part of him with me and helping children was a big thing for him. He talked about it as he was dying.

Sorry to hear about your friend Shelby. Raising funds for St. Jude is a great cause! Gave up smoking myself a few years ago. It was a dumb period and having children of my own now makes me realize that it's not just about me anymore..

Shelby, What a great idea for a post - promoting a fund raiser. I just read this today, I hope it was a huge success. Thank you for sharing this with us. I've lost family members to cancer and had surgery myself 10 years ago with great success. I'm still kicking and sassy!! Thank you from all of us.
