RESPA Required Use Rule: How do You Spell V-I-O-L-A-T-I-O-N
Every Friday, the group of Active Rain Confirmed Loan Officers meet and brainstorm about new techniques and information to teach and train out the rest of the Active Rain Rainmakers and Clouds In the Making (AR basic members). Today, however, was a special treat. Today, we hosted Dr Gary Lacefield, President of Risk Mitigation Group based in Arlington, Texas. A little about Dr Lacefield:
- Recieved Ed.D in 1997 from Texas A & M University
- President of Risk Mitigation Group 2002
- National Expert in issues surrounding Fair Lending, HMDA, RESPA, Redlining
- Prosecution Expert in issues surrounding mortgage fraud and real estate related financial crimes
- Senior Lecturer, University of Texas
- Former Director of Compliance, W R Starkey Mortgage
- Investigative Supervisor and SR Civil Rights Analyst, US HUD (eight years)
