San Diego County median sales price for September 2010

The median sales price for homes in San Diego County for September 2010 was $330,500, lower than August 2010 but ahead of September 2009. After reaching a low of $280,000 in February 2009, the median sales price has continued to steadily chug along.

The holiday season can be a great time to look for a home or to sell your home since competition normally isn't as great.

There are some areas where prices are still declining, mostly high-end areas, and there are other areas, such as Mission Valley, where multiple offers and great properties are causing the prices to increase faster than the median.

If you've been debating whether or not to buy, if your intent is to live in your home, raise your family there, and perhaps even retire there, it's always a great time to buy, especially since interest rates are still at record lows. If you don't have a lender to work with, I'll help you find a lender, too! I know several great ones!
