Yesterday, Alyssa and I played hookie and went to visit Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls TX. We had never been there before. We had plans twice before to go, but things always came up.
Since it's Fall, as much as it can be Fall when it's 85 degrees, it was time for their Pumpkin Patch and Hayride stuff.
We had a group of about 35 people and had a blast! We got to pick our own pumpkins. We got to paint those pumpkins. We got to feed the goats. We rode a hayride to a maze and then had to find our way back.
Sweet Berry Farm was a lot of fun and for a Friday morning, it was very crowded! Even the local Lake Pointe Elementary School was on a field trip there. We never got to go on cool field trips like that when I was in school!!
Sweet Berry Farm is located at 1801 FM 1980 in Marble Falls. My GPS said it was on the left, but the parking and main entrance is actually on the right. The Fall Harvest goes through November 14 and they're closed on Wednesdays. The actual farm visit is FREE, but they charge for the different activities.
