It's a season for change! With environmental considerations and growing interest in enjoying light displays at an individual pace, children of all ages will be walking in our very own ‘winter wonderland' this year!
In place of the drive through, visitors will now be able to meander through themed vignettes, pause to take photos and make the most of those crisp winter evenings together. Pathways are accessible to strollers, buggies and motorized wheelchairs. Be sure to bundle up, bring your flashlight and your umbrella, as the show goes on drizzly or dry!
For those who long to ride the rails this Christmas, the train will indeed be running again this year (weather permitting).
After your walk, be sure to stop in the garden centre to marvel at incredible new poinsettia varieties, enjoy a warm beverage in the Callicarpa Café, take part in a Kids' Craft and enjoy live musical entertainment on weekends (prior to Christmas). Don't miss a fantastic G-Scale train display, set up by local train enthusiasts Brent Sutton and The Chilliwack Garden Railway Engineers, and our popular ‘Snowville' miniature village display too!
The Country Christmas light display runs evenings from 5pm-8pm December 5-23 and December 27-28. We will be closed December 24-26th. Admission rates apply, and last admission is at 8pm.
We are excited to be taking this new direction in our holiday activities. Come and join us in leaving green footprints!
