The email looked very official, and would have made me jump at the link immediately, except that I have never had any type of account at all with Bank of America.
If I did have an account with them, I probably would have thought that I needed to jump there immediately and give them whatever they asked for. Only once have I had a problem with strange activity on one of my charge accounts, and that provider phoned me for verification and required me to use my secret questions before they would tell me the nature of the problems.
