The United States of America is being literally destroyed by the Would-Be Dictators Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

If We The People do not throw out these Anti-American Tyrants, and all those who have bowed before them, then we as a Nation are doomed.

It is time for all of us speak up.

I pretty much keep my opinions to myself on these matters (outside of my house that is).. but I agree with you, Trey.

Everyone go vote!

Trey - and vote intelligently! When someone runs on a platform of "Change" I hope the voters remember to find out what the change is first, regardless of affiliation.

Trey, keep in mind that both sides are responsible. The ideal candidate will cut taxes, cut spending, reduce government, kick out special interests and large corporations from government and restore it back to the people. We need to decrease our world empire as well. We do not need to be nation building or be the world police. We should not use our military to grow drugs or protect oil pipelines for private Oil companies. Finally, we need both a sound foreign policy and economy policy. 

Trey...Mike and Satar have good points.  Know what you want in your representatives, know what they stand for and most importantly, hold them to the promises they make. Our work doesn't stop just because we voted. 

We need to clean the house... SEVERAL times... to remind the politicians that WE own the country, and they serve at OUR behest. 

I'm with Satar's views on this one.  I also feel that the choices are also a bit too scripted to make an informed decision.  Both platforms available exist in relation to each other and therefore propose a slight variation or stark contrast from the alternative.  I feel that voting isn't enough because it vests all the power in the hands of the representatives and not the people.  I fear a more radical approach should be on the table as a third and fourth alternative.  Cheers, Jark.
