On December 9 and 10 the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) will present the 31st Annual Legal Seminar in Chicago, Illinois.  The Legal Seminar offers the unique perspective of members who are primarily involved in legal issues.  The seminar presents substantive and procedural developments in laws that affect assessments and valuation. Sessions include: Case Law Updates, Selecting Expert Witnesses, Cross Examination, Redirect Examination, Low Income Housing Tax Credit Projects, Complex Industrial Properties, Valuation of Billboards, Insights on Ethical Dilemmas and variety of other topics.

Early bird registration closes November 17th.  IAAO professional designees will earn 12.25 hours of recertification credit.  Attendees may be eligible for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.  Due to significant variations in each state's CLE rules and regulations, IAAO can not guarantee that states will approve the seminar for CLE credit. Illinois state approval of CLE hours is pending. Attorneys may request other states for CLE approval when they register for the seminar.

The IAAO, established in 1934, is one of the world's largest and most comprehensive associations for assessment professionals.
