On our way home from Wind Surfers Paradise, Hood River Oregon, we headed east and stopped at the Mary Hill Winery south-west of Goldendale Washington.  They have a great tasting room with lots of gift items, a wonderful lattice covered patio with grape and flower vines, and a large amphitheatre overlooking the Columbia River.  We tasted some of the best wines and purchased 6 bottles of various blends and vintages.

I've been to Maryhill museum several times. It is quite a beautiful and interesting place. The winery sounds nice and I've heard good things about the music programs.

The Mary Hill Winery has a wide selection of wines but only offers about ten of them for tasting ... unless you're a member of their "wine club".  Members of their club are allowed to taste anything they want, plus other perks and discounts.  It costs about $125 to join and I regret not doing it sooner.

Memories....when I lived overseas, we used to visit the wineries each year to taste the new wines.

Amy - We had a great time, the weather was warm with a nice breeze.  I'd like to attend an event at the amphitheatre.  The scenery is awesome

Larry - We should join the the Wine Club!

Barbara-Jo & Bill - There are at least 10 vineyards in this area of Washington!  It's something we plan to do again!
