Braemar is a newer community (started in 2003) of detached homes, twin homes and town homes in Bristow, VA. It has several entrances on Linton Hall Road between VA Route 28 and US Route 29. The Sudley Manor Rd entrance to Braemar has a large shopping center with all the essential neighborhood services.

Children attend Prince William County Public Schools.

For commuters there is both AM and PM bus service to the West Falls Church Metro Station Bus Schedules.
Additionally, Virginia Railway Express operates commuter trains from Broad Run Airport and Manassas to Metrorail connections in Alexandria and Washington, DC

Obviously, the price increase of 12% over 2009 is good news for the property owners in Braemar. It is very much in line with recent market reports in other subdivisions that tend to indicate the downward spiral is either ending or ended. A check of the statistics at our Multiple Listing Service confirm that all areas of Prince William County are producing the same results. There are variances, of course, but that is a function of the type of homes and the number and percentage each type in a particular subdivision. The very fact that Braemar is a subdivision with detached homes, townhomes and condominiums and offers a wide variety of home styles stabilizes the community.

With home mortgage rates at historically low levels this would be an excellent time for home buyers to return to the market while prices are still much lower than in previous years. A Braemar home in Bristow would be a wise investment at this time.
