75 Comments on Blogger's Block? Here Is A List You Can Blog About Today!!!
Great post Karen, I'm always reminded by posts like this just how easy it is to find a local topic to write about. The recent challenge really helped me jump start the creative juices as well.
thanks for the nudge to keep the brain churning
Karen,
Love the idea of recipe posting. Fall is the best time to bake and fill your home with wonderful smells!! Thanks for the idea!
Karen: There are a few places where you can actually get a list. When I real the list through it sparks something that I want to write about & off we go. I will say that since the 30/30 challenge I've been a bubble head.
I don't have the link any longer on my desktop or I would include it.
What a great list! Perhaps I'll have some inspiration to blog about the upcoming World Series match... GO GIANTS! :)
Hmm, does it count if I'm too much of a scaredy cat to actually do any of the scary haunted houses or corn mazes? I kept debating about whether I wanted to blog about them with a caveat that they wouldn't catch me dead there (hahaha...oh boy, I'm really not too good at the Halloween humor.) Perhaps I'll give it a shot.
You used all your good ideas on the 30/30, Lyn....
I don't think it matters if you are afraid or not, Danielle :)
Karen,
Those are all great ideas for newbies like me and everyone. Newcomers and natives are always interested in that type of information. Thank you!
I'm still looking for upcoming local events - you'd think in a place like Los Angeles there would be all kinds of things to write about but when you get down to specific smaller communities it can be tough. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks for the post, sometimes it is really hard to find topics, they seem to come in spurts for me.
Thanks I was having a block. I read your list and said "I knew that!" Thanks for the help. Margaret C.
Karen, great list of ideas. Next time I get blogger's block I'm going to get specific.
I think often that we think non real estate blogs wouldn't be of interest to our potential clients, but those are things that often find me clients because it brings them to me again and again....so they do read my real estate blogs eventually even if that was not their intent when googling the info found on my blog.
Thanks Karen! That gave me an idea. A lot of high school sports playoffs are beginning. Something to write about!
Dear Karen,
Community service hours are hard to find? Some friends at the gym seem to be doing ok with their kids, but I'll have to look into that.
Karen: I scouer my local connections, rec centers, cities, counties, at the beginning of each month and map out my blogging topics. It's been working well so far! Carrie
Good post. I'll have to make a list similar to yours but appropriate for my area. I have frequent bloggers block! Some of the top AR posters on here amaze me with their creativity and writing skills.
Karen, these are GREAT ideas for blog posts....especially like the one for Volunteer opportunities for high schoolers! Might have to do one of those myself. :)
Thanks especially for all the localism blog suggestions. Margaret C
Thanks for the list. I think the bigger problem around here is no comments. A post is on top for about for about 2 minutes and then is gone.
