The news has been full of the problems in the residential real estate market. Despite all that has been written, it now appears to be the "perfect storm" for buying a new home. With home prices down and interest rates lower than they've been for over 50 years homes are very affordable.

It's also a great time to move up. Although the home being sold may sell for less, the price of the home being bought will also be less. When home prices rebound, yes the will, the new home value increase will outpace the value increase in the home that was sold.
