We're excited to announce that RainCamp New Orleans will be teaming up with Make It Right, a charity that is helping rebuild New Orleans Lower 9th Ward with affordable, green, storm resistant homes.

Our RainCamp Gold Seating has been donation based in the past, but this time we’ll be taking those proceeds and paying them forward towards a good cause.  All donations over $15 will go towards Make It Right.  So donate $20, and we'll give $5 back.  Donate $50, and $35 will go toward charity!

Purchase your Gold Seating Ticket now for RainCamp New Orleans, and give what you can.  It will be an amazing opportunity to give back, and also learn cutting edge sales tactics and tools to leverage your business with social media.

We hope to see you in New Orleans!

Great idea John!  Anyone who would like to donate most definitely can.  Please click on the Make It Right link in the post above and consider your good deed for the day completed.

What a wonderful idea! New orleans is still rebuilding, many peoples thoughts are the gulf coast has been rebuilt, and it simply is not the case! We still have a way to go..

What a wonderful thing to be doing. Hopefully you will sell out the Gold seating and folks WILL donate a ton of money. My thoughts will be with you when I am at the CRS meetings.

That is great news and a great cause.  Wish I was going to be there.  I hope they have the NAR conference in New Orleans again.  It is a great location for the event and they need the support.

Rain-camp is meaningful and beneficial to everyone....I predict very soon that the day will come where you can can credits for attending that can go toward mandatory classes for license renewals. Very good Real Estate base camp....

Thank you to ActiveRain and the attendees!  There is still much work to do here, although you probably won't see it while wandering through the convention center, downtown and the French Quarter.  I appreciate everyone's donations to help my little part of the world.

I believe the gold seating has sold out already.  Will you be donating any of the Platinum seating fees?  I am still finalizing my schedule to make sure I don't have too many scheduling conflicts because I would sure like to attend while I am there!

Jim - There are still gold seats available, although they are going fast....hint, hint :)  The donations are for gold seat tickets only.

Wonderful charity involvement at Rain Camp. It's an opportunity to learn as a REALTOR and give as a caring individual.

I'm very happy to see Active Rain giving back to a town that really needs and deserves it. There is alot of great musical culture and history in New Orleans. Great Job!

Hey Kerrie, just a thought. Are there a limited number of gold seats available for New Orleans? If you get the general membership to make a donation towards the charities, and it's less than the $79, say $50, does that reserve them a seat that might be needed by someone that really plans to attend?
