It is so true to actually think that while you feel like you have a hundred different things to talk about, it comes down to what do people want to read. I have written blogs on special financing, real estate, FHA and even on Buyers with disabilities. I have used humor and off topic posts with my animals. I have created a hodge podge of blogging history.
The posts I think will be successful (and I mean that draws the interest of the readers and encourages them to dialogue) and the ones I do as a fluke and for fun are never how I expect them to be.
I know in previous blogs I asked about what the reader wants and some of the responses are:
- Catchy headlines
- Interesting topics
- Easy reading
But I do those types of posts and I am starting to think that "WHAT TIME" you post your blog has something to do with it. I know it isn't personal because know one personally knows me. Although I have gotten personal on blogs and those seem to scare people off. The silly cat photos (while adorable) might be a welcome break from the 'Foreclosure freeze, economy collapsing" heavy emotional posts. I try to create a mix and a blend of everything..
So - thus I find myself at a standstill in the blogging mindset. Do I push through it and write crazy posts like this one, airing my uncertainity and discouragement? Or do I step away until I have something "important" to say?
Well, I guess I will just have to take one post at a time, as the creativity strikes at the midnight hour !!
