 The following recent announcement from the Prudential Real Estate PREA Center about C Dan Joyner, our President and CEO, has made me so proud to be part of such a great organization.  I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations to C Dan Joyner.  I always knew that he was great, and now the world does too!

C. Dan Joyner, President and CEO of Prudential C. Dan Joyner Co., REALTORS®, recently received the 2007 Distinguished Citizen Award from the Blue Ridge Council of the Boy Scouts of America. This award is presented annually to an outstanding person in the Greenville, S.C., community. Dan was chosen for his extensive community involvement, generosity and outstanding character.

On receiving the award, Dan says, "I am very grateful and appreciative that they honored me. The Boy Scouts have done so much for children and are a very strong organization in Greenville."

Dan is active in many community charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Greenville Hospital Board, Peace Center for the Performing Arts, Community Foundation for Greenville County, Commerce Club, National Association of REALTORS®, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Homeless Coalition, United Way of Greenville County, and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the Board of Trustees at Furman University.
