The October offerings in the north shore Realtor Caravan are not for the budget minded buyers.  These are mostly big properties with acreage, including a few that are really exceptional.

The Maui north shore just had a big community clean-up yesterday, with a coordinated effort to clean up the beaches and parks.  Volunteers removed a lot of abandoned vehicles from the bushes and bagged up plenty of trash.  This is an annual event which helps to bring the community together and make us all proud of this beautiful island where we live.

So, did you at least stop by the bakery on the tour? 

Seriously, I have a question - because of the hills and mountains and such, do the larger acreage houses have "usuable"/flatter land?  Or are some of them on steep slopes down the mountain? 

Surprisingly, we have that here in Scottsdale and I was just curious if it's the same there.

Juli - there are all kinds of properties, some are flat, and many are on the slopes of the mountain, which makes for great views.  With a large acreage you will probably get some varied terrain, which is interesting and more fun.
