This time of year always reminds me of my home in Pennsylvania. I usually try to drive there in time to see all the beautiful trees in full color, foreshadowing the winter to come. This year, family responsibilities prevented the trip, but I remember how spectacular it was last year. It's something akin to sensory bombardment in a really good way... crunchy leaves underfoot, the slightly smoky aroma of distant burning barrels, and the unparalleled blaze of color! As much as I love Florida, the ocean, the palm trees, and condo living, Autumn beckons me home, if only for a visit.

Great use of photos Margo. Photos are underutilized on AR, especially for local posts. Great shots of St. Augustine too in your other recent post.
