Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody New Homes - Sandy Springs - Inside 285 - Starting at $599k - October 2010

Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody New Homes - City of Sandy Springs, GAAs long term Buckhead/Sandy Springs GA residents, we are used to new home construction.  However, new construction has virtually ground to a halt over the last 24 months.  Recently, we are starting to see a few new homes being built as folks jump on good land deals and believe we will be coming out of the challenging economic housing environment we are in.

Today, new homes in the City of Sandy Springs area are few and far between.  Most "foreclosure deals" have been snapped up, with a much lower inventory level for new homes existing today than for resale homes.  So, if you are thinking of buying a new construction home in the near future, one of your best options might be the Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody.

Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody New Homes - City of Sandy Springs, GA

The Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody offers five lots with new home prices starting in the low $600,000's.  (The sign said $500's, but has been updated to $599k's already!)  Located just off Peachtree Dunwoody, beautiful stone work leads to the charming cul-de-sac just at the beginning of the City of Sandy Springs line, still inside the I-285 Perimeter highway.  The location is awesome, north central Atlanta.

Three homes are being built by Rockhaven Homes.  The small neighborhood has five total properties with a few being a bit more level than others.  The best part is the homes will be minutes to the Pill Hill Hospital area and Perimeter area or you can be at Lenox/Phipps in the opposite direction in just those same three minutes.  Not too many easier locations centrally located to commute from in Atlanta!

Enclave at Peachtree Dunwoody New Homes - City of Sandy Springs, GAWhile just five years young, the City of Sandy Springs is fiscally responsible and actually has a savings account.  The property taxes are much lower, the high school for these homes is Riverwood ICS(#1 in Fulton county, #2 in state of Georgia) and the streets, sidewalks and services are top notch.  We fully expect City of Sandy Springs to be a huge resale advantage in the years to come, as folks look to leave higher property taxes with less services behind.

Lori,

It's a great location.  Peachtree Dunwoody is one of my favorite streets as it offers some of the most greenery around Atlanta.  This property feels like you could be in the country, but about 2 miles in every direction is everything you could want!

All the best, Michelle
