There was a news brief in the AZ Republic today that mentioned that the Cost of Living index for Phoenix dropped roughly 3 points from the 1st quarter to the 2nd quarter.  This is due mainly to the flat real estate market at this time.  We have heard many times over the past year that the cost of living has gone up drastically in the Phoenix area, so this is generally good news.  What has been lost in all the complaining is the fact that Phoenix still has a lower cost of living than most other major western cities including LA, San Fran, and Seattle.  This is one of the things that keeps the Phoenix market going.  People elsewhere realize it is still easier to afford life here in the Valley of the Sun than many other metro areas.  So, come check us out!
