Did I Do My Best...

As I am on the verge of crossing the threshold and sojourn to the next plateau, I stop to reflect before going forward. Standing on the peak, I look back down the terrain I grappled through, sometimes with a multitude of mixed emotions.

The question I most ask myself is: "Did I do my best to help spread the love?"

Every day, many fabulous articles are posted by several thousand active members. They, like myself, like to receive comments. Alas, it is physically impossible to comment on every one, even within my own sphere of subscribers. 

Did I do my best to write and post quality material? Writing quality material can be a laborious task. Although small in numbers, the ActiveRain membership is a quality group that deserves high caliber material.

Did I do my best to spread the love? Reaching out and physically calling someone who isSmoky Mountain Sunrise down or challenged goes above and beyond just writing. It shows we care.

We are a unique, blended family. We are a homogeneous mix a of cultures, backgrounds, ideas, trades and lifestyles.

For every milestone crossed, a new day dawns. While we celebrate and share our jubilation with our peers, look back and ask: "Did I do my best to spread the love?" ...
