Waterview on Queens CreekEastern coastal North Carolina is a wonderful place to live whether you are

  • retiring
  • starting out as a new family
  • relocating from a different area
  • or just ready to make a move

Many people enjoy the water and water activities and desire a location where they can indulge in waterfront living.  However, the cost of waterfront property has skyrocketed over the past few years and it has become more and more difficult for the average home buyer to afford that beach front home or house on the sound.

There is an affordable solution and that is the fast growing town of Hubert, N C which is an extension of Swansboro.  Waterfront and water view property in Hubert N C is much more affordable than most other areas in Eastern coastal N C and the word is spreading.

204 E ITwo of the fastest growing subdivisions is Kingsbridge on Queens Creek and  Kingsbridge II  on Queens Creek subdivisions.  These are very diverse subdivisions where retirees, young families and singles live.  The style and size of houses as well as  prices of the houses vary quite a lot.   The new homes on the creek are upscale and spacious with a price range of $400,000s to $995,000.  New homes located on interior lots range in price from the $200,000s to $300,000s.  There are some previously owned homes available  for under $200,000KB lot water view

A new section is almost ready to open which will consist of 21 waterfront lots and 20 water view lots.  This promises to be a very desirable and popular location with the gorgeous creek views and water access.

Hubert NC is a very convenient location for those that work at Camp LeJeune military base with the back gate located approximately 10 minutes away.  The drive to Jacksonville is approximately 20 minutes.  The schools which serve the area are about a 10-12 minute drive away.  Swansboro and Hubert are pretty much connected, it is difficult to know where one begins and the other ends.  Swansboro is a wonderful, historic, waterfront town with charming shops and restaurants.

hi Cynthia,

Hubert sounds like a beautiful area....I have to live  either where I can see the water or where I am directly on the water in order to feel complete.

These homes are beautiful and they sound affordable still.

Excellent info for the homebuyer in your area....gee, you really know the Hubert area extremely well !

Cynthia, The areas you serve look beautiful.  I would love to live on the water or have a waterview.  Maybe someday....I know the taxes are certainly lower there!  Thank you for sharing information about your pretty area.

Hello Jo,
Hubert and the surrounding areas are beautiful.  I, too, need to be near water.  I tried living away once and I felt so unconnected.

Thank you for your kind words.  I really do appreciate you.

Hi Jeff,
How did I miss acknowledging your comment?  Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.  Both views are great--the one taken in the Spring with the vegetation sure looks better than the one taken in the winter.  I need to get back out and take more before things die down again.
