Wow, something great is happening at Keller Williams Ann Arbor!

Every Tuesday our agents are learning and sharing their knowledge about technology as it relates to the real estate business. All agents are welcome to attend (even if you are not yet with Keller Williams)!

Today we talked about permission based marketing and viewed this video Talking about Web 2.0 with Gerhard on Seth Godin's blog.

To be competitive in the Ann Arbor real estate market you have to be a tech savvy agent!

Hi Andy,

I totally agree with you. In fact, I just came back from Austin after attending Mega Camp. It was an awesome 3 days with one of the days totally focused on technology. I came home with a huge to do list and my head spinning. That is how I actually ended up on AR. It was suggested that we join. So, one thing off my list and a zillion ore to go! Isn't that how it always is with us Realtors?

Our office does something similar on Thursdays. Slowly but surely more and more agents are starting to see the benefits of technology.

I wanted to just say "Thanks" for the technology class you taught on Monday. Goes to show even "old" farts like me can learn new tricks or great new ways of communicating with our fellow Realtors and the public.

Claudia, thanks for the comment. Mega Camp is a great source of inspiration and new ideas, isn't it! It seems like ten percent or less of the agents are actively embracing blogging and understand howit can benefit their business and thier clientelle. Andy

I have been talking about this non-stop with my office, referring agent to Active Rain, talking about tech tools, etc. At Mega Camp they finally "got-it" and now we are redirecting our tech focus within our office. I would love to see our Tech Tues feature a sort of mastermind like this vs. every week going over websites - I think it gets old...

Hi: I'm new to Active Rain; heard about it last year at a KW tech seminar, and again at Mega Camp, and here I am. I'm the Tech Comm. Chair in our office, and I look forward to sharing ideas/strategy/training tips with everyone. In my area (NJ/NYC) KW is new and not many people know anything about it, but I can say that the other agencies don't begin to have a clue about tech stuff, and how much it is changing our business. Thanks!

Thank you for the great idea. I am the Tech Committee Chair in my office - Elk Grove, CA - and at the Tech Committee meeting tomorrow I am going to suggest that we start a Technology Tuesdays in our office!
