MEET BLOSSOM

Blossom is a playful 6 year old Golden who loves attention. She has lots of energy and would be good with other dogs or kids. She constantly wants to wrestle with her foster brother Bradley. Blossom loves to go on walks and is good on a leash, so getting some of her weight off will not be a problem.

She is well behaved, knows a few commands and is a great family dog. She is fine being alone for 6-7 hours during the day. She has the run of the house and does not jump on furniture or counter surf. 

Miss Blossom is healthy, but overweight. She will need a family committed to helping her lose weight.

Blossom is sweet girl & has lived with kids and cats & is good with other dogs. She was given up by her family as they did not have time for her anymore. For the past 6 months she has lived outdoors for the first time in her life.  Now she is safe in rescue & looking for a new home to call her own.   

Blossom:  Pet ID: 1023 • Spayed • Up-to-date with routine shots • House trained

Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Maryland serves Charles, St Mary's and Calvert counties. All dogs live with loving families until they find their furever home. Dogs are spayed/neutered, current on distemper and rabies, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, any medical issues are addressed and they eat a premium kibble or dehydrated raw diet. They come with a Lupine leash and collar and at least a one month supply of medications. 

Applications and home visits are required prior to adoption.

Dogs MUST be house dogs. They may not be chained or penned away from the family.
