Terrapins Swim Team's Annual Halloween Party and Food Drive for the Contra Costa Food Bank is 10/29/10!
Terrapins Swim Team is a non-profit run by a board of directors consisting of parents and trainers. Their main goal:
Our main objective is to offer a comprehensive youth swim team to all Contra Costa youth. We aspire to develop swimmers from the novice beginner to the most advanced Olympic hopeful. Of primary concern is the teaching of skills that promote improvement in the sport of swimming while concurrently promoting healthy and productive lifestyles.
Sounds good to me! Tomorrow afternoon at the Concord Community Pool (3501 Cowell Road) from 4:30-6:30pm. Everyone is welcome, and please don't forget to bring some non-perishable food items for the food bank. Come in costume, as there is a costume contest. There are goodie bags for all children, food, carnival style games and more.
This should be a fun party that will help support two worthwhile organizations. Stop by if you have some time on Friday afternoon.
