I received GREAT Service on my Verizon iPAD Purchase Today in Southern Maryland. I have been talking about and studying and contemplating an iPAD the last few months. I had a special spot at Best Buy in Annapolis MD to play with it and ask questions and simply enjoy exploring it. I also roamed in the Apple Store to check it out. I read blogs on Active Rain. I was a ROYAL PAIN. But no matter what, it looked like a good business tool for a Southern Maryland Realtor.

So when Verizon announced they would be selling the iPAD Oct. 28 , they had my attention. I already had a wireless USB modem and knew I would need to upgrade to a mifi since Verizon has the only viable network in Southern Maryland for hard core Realtor cell phone users. I put in an order for a FREE mifi upgrade on line. I was getting my ducks in a row. But then... uh oh.

The blogs started mentioning that current mi fi users would not get the package price which was ten dollars less per month than I have been paying for ages. This adds up over time. So I called Verizon, then I stopped in the store a few times, then I thought it over. I decided to pay the restocking fee for my  free device I had in hand and gamble that this was a good move. I just happened to be caught up in a big mess. I had not activated the new mi fi so it was safe to return. But no info was released to know this was a good decision. I just gambled. The Verizon Store Manager suggested this may have been the best course of action under the circumstances.

So I talked to the Store Manager at Prince Frederick MD Verizon enough times that he recognized me when I was second in line this morning. I will probably be second in line there for the iPHONE this Spring, too. Anyway, he was really, really fair with me. I got the NEW iPAD, ten dollars off my plan, two more years of Verizon service, and the same price I would have paid at Best Buy or the Apple Store. But to me the kicker was that as a Realtor I already had the USB Version but now I would have the same plan for ten dollars less a month plus now a whopping 5 gadgets that could run on the wireless mi fi.

But get this. Then they set it up for me. I wanted to walk out the store and go to Panera or Starbucks and play. I ended up not having enough time to stay, but they had me all rigged up with no extra service call needed when I got home to get my work gadget operational.

Thanks to Justin White, the Store Manager, who guided me accurately through the steps to solve the pricing and timing dilemma ..i.e.  reap the benefit of the ten dollar savings on the plan. Also, thanks to Sheila Stout who patiently got all the correct answers to the questions I asked this morning.

I received GREAT Service on my Verizon iPAD Purchase Today in Southern Maryland ! For both the plan savings of 10/mth on  the wireless connection for five devices PLUS the extra mile the Verizon staff took, with SMILES, to get this Southern Maryland Realtor up and running on her new work tool, I must say loudly and clearly (can you hear me now????) that Verizon was a great vendor choice on where to actually make my iPAD for Realtor purchase.

But to be fair, I will be headed to Best Buy next to get all the gadgets and covers. Fair is fair. Since I always was welcome to stay and play and learn the iPAD , I want to get the rest of the iPAD loot there as my way of rooting for their wonderful "Geek" assistance, too! I am anxious for 9PM when I end my work day because tonight I can play on my new Realtor work tool that is way, way COOL. Yep, now I no longer have to drool, I have a NEW Southern Maryland Realtor TOOL!
