10 Comments on Did you know? — The Genesis banana
Jim, I always enjoy a great post. Thank you so much. You've made my Friday.
Jim, great post about Anna and I agree about the bananas at the market! Have fun today, wherever you are going! ~ Susan
Hey Jim - I think I'm going Banana's - I must be in the right place! Love it! Way Fun!
Happy Anniversay! Enjoy your time away!!
Anna Banana
That’s very interesting insight about the possible biblical reference to a banana instead of an apple. I had not heard that before. Thanks, Jim!
Cute. Like the photo of the rotten bananas. Tomatoes were also considered a forbidden fruit and for many years believed poisonous.
Jim, leave it to you to dig up all that stuff about forbidden fruit!! :-) I would have never guessed that about the delicious banana!
Jim - Thanks for the the opportunity to ponder further the reproductive process of the banana tree (or is it a plant?) More importantly, enjoy your time away ...
what what..they have been teaching us wrong all these years hahaha :) Cool information Jim I love learning new things everyday! I had no idea about the non reproductive fruit either, very interesting :) Have a great day and thanks for sharing:)
Jim, Anniversary??? 2 years? Have a great time away!
I will always think of Anna and her group when I see a banana. Interesting info about the "forbidden fruit" makes you wonder about other things written a long time ago.

Thanks for stopping by, everyone.
I’m trying to catch up on old posts to see if anyone had a question or if there are some comments that need a response. If so, I’ll respond in a comment below this one.
Also remember that I return comment for comment, so I'll be by your blogs to read and comment soon. I'm exactly 30 days behind right now, but I usually catch up during Thanksgiving and Christmas, so you'll definitely hear from me soon.
And if you need a cat book for Christmas for that special cat person in your life — even yourself if you're your own special cat person in your life! — I can highly recommend “The Cat Lover’s Book of Days,” by our own ActiveRain Member Peg Silloway. It's a book that you can use year after year, and never get tired of, because there are no years in it, only days. It's great!
